Margaret has over 18 years’ experience of working in the community and with families from different backgrounds and ethnicities. Her skills range from leading and implementing community projects; bespoke training and development community programmes and support and enabling families and individuals to live fulfilled lives in terms of their economic, emotional and social well being.

Through 2020, families have been further impacted by the pandemic and Margaret has continued to adapt the service so that voices are heard on different levels in the community.

  • Is involved in parent outreach and support and became a coordinator in one of the local Children’s Centres in Southwark
  • Has developed training projects and outreach services for families in partnership with health, social care and other voluntary services
  • Is currently the project lead for a parent led voluntary group that provided holiday activities for families with little or no support
  • Is part of a an action group working to support families with ‘no recourse to public funds’
